Step one, get a bow tie
Ok, just buying a bow tie from Tieroom won’t make you famous. At least not right away. Well, and even if it does I would guess it would run out in 15 mins. Damn you Andy Warhol (yeah, Andy wore bow ties).
But it could help you out. There is a long list of people that loved wearing a bow tie. Just to show you we aren’t pulling your leg here come a few examples:
Sex and the bow tie
We are talking about a famous bow tie wearer, Alfred Kinsey. Even when Liam Neeson is playing him he’s got one on. If we had to suggest a tie for Mr. Kinsey I think we would have to go with Dario the cotton bow tie. Yes, Dario comes in all formats, as all our designs do here at Tieroom.
Let’s try one more recommendation before we go ….
Das Kapital and fashion
That’s right, Marx loved to wear bow ties. He had them on all the time. Clearly you can see him in the picture below, toiling on the most difficult of problems, how should I light this cigar given all the hardship I will be putting on the makers of all the things I need to light this cigar? Well, at least I am looking amazing!
And a recommendation for the dear Mr. Marx. What would the Tieroom brothers dress him up in? Well, as with the previous recommendation, this one is clear. Fernando, the wonderful yellow with green dots bow tie would be perfect. God bless you Herr Marx. We will never forget you.
